HOT WHEELS BEAT THAT DS - NTR-YHWP-UKV
Hot Wheels: Beat That! is a racing video game released in September 2007 and based on the Hot Wheels toy line which manufactured by Mattel. The game was developed by Eutechnyx for most platforms (while Neversoft developed the game for Nintendo DS version) and published by Activision. It was released for Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2, Nintendo DS, and Wii.
Gameplay
The game features 3 events of racing in single player, 30 authentically modeled vehicles and 2 unplayable vehicles, two-player gameplay, competitive weaponry and power-ups. The player proceed to race through a bedroom, mini golf, attic and a bowling alley. New events and cars can be unlocked by winning an event or achieving the 2 secondary goals for each event.
Weapons
The weapons which featured in the game are tesla ray (temporarly disables controls for a nearby car), rockets (3 that can be used to blow up cars or open new routes), boosts, EMP (which disables all opponent's weapons), smoke, air strike (a small jet fighter flies over and drops bombs), mines, mortars (that can be used to blow up cars or open new routes) and parachute darts (to slow down other cars). These weapons dramatically change gameplay.
