ALVERFOLKET 7 I TROLLENS VÅLD
Alverfolket (original title: Elfquest) is a comic series created by Wendy and Richard Pini in 1978.
The original series, published in the USA between 1978 and 1984, comprises issues 1–20; issues 18–20 were never translated into Swedish. Wendy and Richard subsequently continued publishing through Marvel Comics, their own publisher WaRP Comics, DC Comics and later Dark Horse Comics, working with a team of artists and writers who contributed to the series.
The story follows a small group of elves, the Wolfriders, who have lived in the forest for thousands of years, in constant conflict with nearby humans who cannot tolerate them. When the humans decide to burn down the forest to drive the elves out for good, they are forced to flee. Their search for a new home leads them to discover other elves, whose existence they had never suspected, and eventually to seek the truth about their origins.
